So happy you made it here. A little bit about ME: I am a Franklin, TN native, I graduated from Auburn in 2022 and I was so happy to move back HOME after I graduated! I have the amazing opportunity to be TrueForm’s studio manager for both the Franklin and Nashville locations! It is such a joy and blessing to be in such an amazing community that is TrueForm Fitness. Since I am from Franklin, I thought it would be fun to give everyone some ideas and places to go when you’re in Franklin and Nashville!!! I hope you get to go to one (or all!!!) of these places, and I hope you love them just as much as I do.
FRANKLIN!
Franklin is quaint, cute and homey. As all my friends say, “If you know Ellie, you know how much she loves Franklin.” It’s perfect to me and it’s easy to talk about a place you love so much!
Here are my favorites:
COFFEE: High Brow in Westhaven, The Good Cup, The Coffee House at Second and Bridge, The Fainting Goat, Hanks Coffee Station, Honest Coffee Roasters, Onyx & Alabaster
FOOD: Mojo’s Tacos in the Factory, Burger Up, BrickTops, Merridees Breadbasket, Herban Market, Franklin Juice Company, Cork & Cow
LOCAL SPOTS: The Factory in Franklin, Landmark Booksellers, Harlinsdale Farms, Arrington Vineyards, Downtown Franklin, The Franklin Theatre
NASHVILLE!
Ohhh Nashville. The ever growing place that’s so fun and full of music and dancing!!! But, I will say, there’s so much more to Nashville than what’s seen on social media. There are Predators games, there are Titans games, there are CONCERTS at the Ryman and at Bridgestone! Nashville is so fun, and while it’s maybe not as quaint as our sweet Franklin, it still holds a charm that I don’t think will ever go away.
So — here are some of MY favorite places to visit!
COFFEE: Dose, Fido, Portland Brew, Barista Parlor, Crema Coffee, The Well
FOOD: Dicey’s Pizza, 51st Deli, Midnight Oil, Taqueria Del Sol, The Mockingbird, Virago, Edley’s BBQ, Greenery Co, Hawkers Asian Street Food, O-Ku Sushi
LOCAL SPOTS: Fifth & Broad Shopping and Food, Steeplechase, Bringles, OneC1ty, Centennial Park, McCabe Golf Course + Walking Trail, Percy Warner Parks, Radnor Lake (!!)
I could go on and on and share so many places to go and so many things to do, but I wanted to give you a simple list with some of my favorites. There are so many places to go and things to do while you’re in Franklin and Nashville, but above all, I hope you’re going and doing all the exciting things with people you love. That’s what makes a place so special — the people you share the memories with.
